Description

From the provocative debut ‘DO IT AGAIN’ to what would be their biggest commercial hit ‘RIKKI DON’T LOSE THAT NUMBER’, this set covers their first three ground-breaking albums and presents a flawless document of a hugely influential American band in it’s heyday. Performed live at the University of California on 10th March 1974, the group would only perform live for another four months before artistic differences brought an abrupt end to concert appearances, until they reformed in 1992.
This is a compelling chapter in the story of one of America’s finest ever bands and of it’s best-loved songwriters, WALTER BECKER & DONALD FAGEN. Among the absolute crack musicians who formed their band at that time were JEFF BAXTER on Guitar, JEFF PORCARO on drums, and MICHAEL McDONALD on electric piano & backing vocals.
Beautifully restored and professionally remastered with background liners and archival photos.
