K.T. TUNSTALL ‘Invisible Empire/Crescent Moon’

Eight years ago KT Tunstall’s unique blend of pop, blues and folk made it to the top of the charts in the form of ‘Black Horse and the Cherry Tree’ – arguably the greatest song of 2005. ‘Suddenly I See,’ also taken from debut release ‘Eye To The Telescope’ brought the Scottish lass similar mainstream success.  Now, well established with two further critically acclaimed albums under her belt, KT is back with ‘Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon.’ Both the album’s title and cover art emphasise KT’s country sound, which has clearly been well developed during two recording sessions in Arizona (the two sessions are mirrored in two album titles).
