Description

The Moody Blues arrived at the third Isle of Wight Festival in August 1970 as one of the world’s top rock bands. Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Doors were among the other attractions, but the ‘Moodies’ could travel to the island content that their third album in 2 years, “A Question Of Balance”, was sitting pretty at the top of the UK chart:
predecessors “On The Threshold Of A Dream” and “To Our Children’s Children’s Children” had made 1 and 2 respectively, so there was no doubting the quintet’s status among such stellar company.

The Moody Blues took to the stage in front of an audience estimated at over half a million and after one hour of pure energy, left the audience completely blown away by a concert performance they will never forget. *Originally released in 2008, out of print for some time, now reissued
