Post-punk psychedelia band Echo & The Bunnymen have returned with new album The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon, a 15-track reimagined compilation album, featuring ‘transformed’ versions of their biggest hits, as well as two brand new tracks.
The work Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant have put into this collection is thought-provoking and enjoyable. More than just simple remakes, these magical rearrangements feel like fresh tendrils digging into familiar soil, something familiar in search of something new.
