We present regular free live In-store Performances at lunchtimes featuring local & international artists. Some of the artists who have performed on our stage include Richard Thompson, Jimmy Webb, Ron Sexsmith, John Scofield, Michelle Shocked, John Hammond, Dave Alvin, Chris Smither, Stephen Cummings, Mick Thomas, Andy White...to name just a few!

These lunchtime concerts are truly very special, intimate & enjoyable...and

WOW....WHAT A LINE-UP WE HAVE FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT!! Please make sure you take note of *DAY and TIME...we'd hate you to miss out! THE JUNES - Friday 12th March @ 12.45 The Junes are primarily SARAH CARROLL & SUZANNAH ESPIE (ex GIT & current solo artists) and GLENY RAE (ex TOE SUCKING COWGIRLS) augmented by Dougie Bull on bass & Chris Tabone on drums. These 3 girls write a mean tune, and harmonize like angels. Due to their busy solo careers, the group don't perform live that often, so this will be a rare opportunity to catch them promoting their brand new (& absolutely stunning!) CD '12 Golden Greats' KIM RICHEY (USA) - Friday 19th March @ 12.45 American alt.country singer/songwriter has only just released her 6th album in a 15 yr. recording career. We're talking real "quality over quantity" here...the new CD 'Wreck Your Wheels' again showcases a superb songsmith with a sublime voice. She's garnered many awards through her career & had many of her songs achieve No. 1 & Top 10 status (her songs have been recorded by some of Nashville's highest profile artists). If you're a fan of artists such as RYAN ADAMS, SHAWN COLVIN, MARY CHAPIN CARPENTER...you will LOVE Kim Richey. Come join us ...it will be grand!! Mary's extraordinary talent belies (or is possibly born of?) an incredibly challenging & difficult life journey. Touring Australia for only the 2nd time, this welcome return coincides with the release of her amazing new album 'THE FOUNDLING', an autobiographical song cycle dealing with her amazing life thus far. Both sad & uplifting, inspiring & touching...her songwriting skills are 2nd to none (DYLAN, no less, declares himself a huge fan!). We are so proud to be hosting this in-store! Mary will be appearing at MOSSVALE PARK FEST 13/3, BRUNSWICK MUSIC FEST 14/3, EAST BRUNSWICK CLUB 26/3, THE PALAIS Hepburn Springs 27/3....so do yourself a huge favour & get along to one of these shows! LIL' BAND O' GOLD (USA) - Saturday 27th March @ 1.30 *Note date & time please! Louisiana Supergroup touring Australia for the first time & promoting their brand new CD 'The Promised Land', will be dishin' up a gumbo of swamp pop, blues, country, cajun, rock'n'roll! Formed in the late 90's by C.C. ADCOCK & STEVE RILEY who then recruited legendary swamp pop singer & drummer WARREN STORM, their ranks quickly expanded to include a who's who of master Louisiana musicians. Each member juggles solo careers & other musical commitments, making this tour a very special event. EDDI READER (UK) - Tuesday 30th March @ 12.45 *Note date & time! Glasgow born Eddi, first found fame as vocalist in FAIRGROUND ATTRACTION. She has since gone on to make several very fine solo albums, includ. her superb interpretations of the 'Songs of Robert Burns', & 'Love is The Way' released late last year, & possesses one of the most beautiful voices around. She will be appearing at all the usual Festivals along with stand alone shows in Mar/April. Eddie will be performing at BRUNSWICK TOWN HALL on 20/3 as part of BRUNSWICK MUSIC FEST along with several other dates - including SPENSERSLIVE with Kim Richey 25/3.
